Electric Vehicle and Operational Service Vehicles Electronics

TMC-4815 Integrated Control
Unit (T-Drive)

TMC-4815 Integrated Control Unit, which is compatible with the “EN 1175-1 Safety” and “EN 12895 EMC” standards, is designed to carry out the control functions of travel and pump motors in electric vehicles powered with 48V battery (accumulator) operating in the range of 5-15 kW.

The digital and analog input and output pins of the TMC-4815 Integrated Control Unit, which combines the AC Motor Drive and Electronic Control Unit (ECU) hardware / software functions in one box, are multi functional programmable; with the output pins, can drive resistive or inductive loads of fan, electrovalve, contactor etc.

With its flexible and powerful hardware / software architecture, it can be used in many operational utility vehicles applications such as electric platforms, especially golf carts, personnel or cargo transportation vehicles, towing vehicles, cleaning vehicles or machines.

FMC-4815 AC Motor Drive
(F-Drive)

FMC-4815 AC Motor Drive is a unit designed to carry out the control functions of travel and pump motors operating in the range of 5-15 kW in electric stacker trucks powered by a 48V battery (accumulator) in accordance with the “EN 1175-1 Safety” and “EN 12895 EMC” standards. It is an AC Motor Drive unit.

It communicates with the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) via the CAN protocol and carries out advanced control functions. The internal microcontroller provides a safe and trouble-free operation by evaluating the commands from the ECU together with the information from the engine temperature sensor and engine speed sensor.

With its flexible and powerful hardware / software architecture, it can be used in many operational service vehicle applications such as electric stacker trucks, electric platforms using AC Motor, golf carts, personnel or load transportation vehicles, towing vehicles, cleaning vehicles or machines.

FMC-ECU Electronic Control Unit
(ECU)

FMC-ECU is an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) designed to be used in electric forklift trucks powered by a 48V battery (accumulator)compatible with “EN 1175-1 Safety” and “EN 12895 EMC” standards.

Digital and analog inputs and outputs of the FMC-ECU have built-in voltage and current protection and their functions can be defined by software according to the application. The digital inputs of the FMC-ECU can be programmed as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). Since 16 of the digital inputs have both “source” and “sink” capability, they can work with common (+) or common (-) terminals. In addition to these features, the input and output pins can be readjusted to perform different functions according to the application.

With its flexible and powerful hardware / software architecture, it can be used in many operational service vehicle applications such as electric stacker trucks, electric platforms using AC Motor, golf carts, personnel or cargo transport vehicles, towing vehicles, cleaning vehicles or machines.

Display Panel (LCD Display)

FMC -LCD is a microcontroller based Dashboard designed to be used in electric stacking trucks powered by a 48V battery (accumulator) compatible with “EN 1175-1 Safety” and “EN 12895 EMC” standards.

FMC-LCD is a customizable device that allows monitoring many alarms, controlling and changing many parameters. It is connected to the Electronic Control Unit via CANBUS communication interface.

With its “Oil Brake” digital input, it can control the hydraulic fluid level on its own, show the related alarms and report it to the Electronic Control Unit. In addition, with its redundant digital input, it allows another switch to be monitored when needed.

Battery Control and Management

ECU application, apart from all functions that provide the dispatch and management of the vehicle, also includes the following control and management functions that provide battery management;

High sensitivity estimation of both the state of charge and health of the battery,

Functional limitation definitions for both the manufacturer and the user for the effective use and life of the battery, Prioritizing recovery in braking moments by supporting the pedal curves that will keep the mechanical brake requirement low.

Autonomous Systems

The experience gained in the projects that Pointek has developed since its establishment has brought the company to the level of developing original projects in Electric Vehicles electronics. New R&D activities that will evolve into autonomous systems with the expansion of the product range in this segment will carry Pointek to the group of companies that offer solutions in a higher category.
